One year after the end of the project (17.01.2018), the two Roma business support centers in Blagoevgrad and Kochani continue to work. They are maintained and function in the same form as they were in the projectimplementation period. The conditions necessary for the sustainable development of the existing centers have been fulfilled. The two partner organizations – association L.I.D.E.R. and association for Roma AVENA have developed qualitative capacity, which is used and contributes to cross-border centers in both populated areas to work independently. Trained youths and women prepare, plan and carry out activities in the centers, maintain contacts with each other and cooperate with other structures and organizations. The work environment is preserved; the technical equipment in the centers is kept upright. They are the main place where consultations on the development of business and entrepreneurship among Roma take place. L.I.D.E.R. association and AVENA association maintain close cooperation with local authorities and continue to support Roma in the border region of Bulgaria – Northern Macedonia, who need support of the centers.
